Having struggled with anxiety, stress and low self esteem for years following an emotional abuse, as a result my body manifested with several health issues and food intolerances, mainly to gluten and dairy.
Disappointed with a modern approach to healing, I turned to nature for answers and fell in love with nutrition and the healing power of plant based foods. Cooking and getting creative in the kitchen became my passion and my therapy.
Slowly I experienced the healing in my body taking place. But it wasn’t until I discovered yoga and meditation back in 2014 that I really started to see the positive changes within me. Through yoga and meditation I allowed myself to let go off the past and regain my confidence and my true self.
My yoga journey led me to India first in 2018 to Rishikesh, considered a birth place of yoga, where I had spent 6 weeks training for 200 hour yoga teacher training course. And then in 2019 I had spent another two months living, studying and volunteering in an ashram in India where I gained a Diploma in Yoga Therapy.
Both visits to India had helped me gain so much more than just a certificate to teach yoga though, as I formed a whole new relationship with my self and others too. Acceptance, forgiveness, compassion and love is what I really took home with me from my trips, and even though I know I am still a work in progress, forever changing and evolving as part of this journey called life, at last I found myself HAPPY... not only in my kitchen.
Inspired by my trips to India as well as all my other travels around the globe combined with my passion for nutrition, I feel blessed to be able to share this gift with you and let you taste this feel good food that’s naturally nourishing and healing for the body, mind and soul.
Much love and happiness,
